The bar chart shows the percentages of the Canadian workforce in five major industries in 1850 and 2020.Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Given is a bar chart illustrating how many people in Canada work in five different fields in 1850 and 2020.

Looking from an overall perspective, it is obvious that they were more individuals in service sector among other jobs, and just this occupation and construction industry had an upward trend.

To begin with services as the most popular job, 33% had chosen it in 1850, and then it increased dramatically to 81% in 2020. Manufacturing ranked second with 36% in 1850. However, it decreased significantly to 9% in 2020. Agriculture and fishing stood next with 22% in 1850, and it became nearly 0% in 2020. Construction was the one that made more jobs in 2020 compared to 1850 with 8% and 5% respectively. The Energy and Water industry stood last with a downward trend from 3% to 1%. The reason might be the fact that people in this occupation had received less income.
